    Oh, I would love, love to win this! Last year I turned 30 and my husband took us to Edgefield and sent me to the Ruby spa for a couple treatments. I don't think I could ever top that. Spa, wine, and chocolate are a killer birthday combination.

    My all time favorite thing to do on my birthday is to go out to a new, well-reviewed restaurant in my city with my favorite people. It usually ends up for great food, conversation, and ambiance.

My all-time favorite thing to do is exactly how I spent my day today - in the loving company of my wonderful wife, with the adventures we share being of secondary favor than that we'd shared them together...     I'm open to anything on my birthday as long as I'm with family & friends, but given that my birthday is in February & we live in Wisconsin, I really like the birthdays where we go one vacation best!

    My favorite thing to do on my birthday was to hang out with friends and family, no presents required, just fun and laughter. I secretly want to have a costume party or a masked ball, since my birthday is the day before Halloween. Maybe soon. :)

    My absolute favorite thing to do on my birthday is have lunch with my husband--I get to pick where we go, AND I even get dessert! My family comes up on the weekend closest to the actual birthday, and that's great, but the lunch is just really special to me.

    My favorite way to celebrate my birthday is with a small but great group of friends! My best friend Tim and I have the same birthday so we usually plan a party together that will give me an excuse to dress up & him an excuse to be his geek chic math nerd self. It's quite the combo! Last year we played arcade games at Dave & Busters.

    My little girl makes me breakfast in bed, something I don't like, like cereal, and I eat it. The coffee is pretty good, lots of hazelnut poured in. Then I get a solo, very long and hot 4-mile hike into the parched California scrub brush and return to the biggest German chocolate cake (last year's was almond, raspberry filling, with buttercream frosting) and I eat A LOT of it!

    on my birthday, i must have cake. also, i have a little tradition of wearing a white dress on my birthday. it started when i was living in Sellwood and found this amazing vintage dress at this random antique shop right around my birthday. i wore that dress every year on my birthday until this year, when i wore a sweet little "built by wendy" dress i picked up at a sample sale!

    My husband and I usually do a combined valentine's/birthday celebration since I was born three days after valentine's day. I love getting flowers, eating dinner out (since we cook at home most nights), and randomly getting a phone call from a friend I haven't talked to lately.

    every year on my birthday (which is next week!), I tell everyone that I want a lobster and, since I live in Maine and they are so cheap here, everyone gets me one and I eat so many lobsters that I cant move and I end up lying on the floor, inevitably yelling about how I know how the lobsters feel. I'm sorry, lobsters. Last year I ate 7!!

    Eat ice-cream cake of course! It's become a rooted family tradition ever since I finally admitted to not liking cake a few years back. What can I say I'm more of a pie girl and can you imagine singing happy birthday over an apple pie?! I can't.

    As for my favorite thing to do with friends - on each others birthdays we get together for sushi at our favorite local spot.
