creative crush: w+k studio

{'bear on bike' print}

{'the book of dan and dave' journal}

{'it's complicated' print}

{'beard-o' t-shirt}

I'm pretty crazy for W+K Studio's designs. Being an Oregonian, the "Beard-O" shirt immediately caught my eye. It's so perfectly Portland. As I went on to explore their online shop, I found item after item that struck my fancy. I'll definitely have my eye on this talented crew!

fig. 2 design interview

I had the pleasure of meeting Claudia of Fig. 2 Design Studio, at the Stationery Show this year. I was flattered when she approached me to contribute to her 5 part series of interviews of exhibitors and attendees of the show. You can read my interview here and I highly recommend the rest of the series, which can be found here. Thanks again, Claudia - can't wait to visit your booth at the show next year!

spotted in the wild: lions

{card by blue barnhouse}

{card by lead graffiti}

{card by pearl & marmalade}

{card by paper loop}

{card by night owl paper goods}

Perhaps it's because I'm a Leo, but I can't seem to help noticing lions on paper goods. Lions seem to be a strong theme for Father's Day too, which is just right around the corner.

I'm constantly in awe of talented illustrators! I have many gifts, but sadly drawing just isn't one of them. Above are a few of the stand-out illustrated lines that I spotted in New York.

Red Cap Cards also features a bevvy of amazing illustrations. Carrie Gifford, illustrator extraordinaire and co-founder of Red Cap, just released some sweet new holiday cards to their collection. Additional new designs include illustrations from Blanca Gómez.
