Thank you notes are important to me. For the most part, I'm pretty good about sending them for the obvious occasions. One of my personal resolutions this year is to send more - and not just when they're expected. Perhaps, a note to one of my favorite servers, who always remembers us, even though we only visit Southern Oregon a few times a year. Or, maybe a little 'thank you' to the massage therapist that went 15 minutes over my allotted time. You've got to admit it's a winning situation for everyone involved.
So here's the idea...
So here's the idea...
The last week of each month in 2010, I'll post a giveaway offering two boxes of 'thank you' cards from two different designers. A comment to enter, any old comment - I want to make it easy and accessible for people to get involved. Two winners announced the following week. The inaugural post for January will feature boxed notes from Two Trick Pony and Egg Press. Are you loving it so far? If so, please spread the word!

Thank you so much for the comments, I'm really glad that people are excited about this idea. Just a reminder that January's gratitude giveaway will be posted on Monday, January 25th.

ReplyDeleteI love it! Great idea! I love writing Thank you notes too. I have actually been looking for a box of mine so I can write Xmas Thank you's but I can't find them....
ReplyDeleteVery cool and generous!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful idea, I would love to participate.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea. I always write a thank you note, and had it drilled into my head from a very early age that it was the proper way to behave. Saying "thank you" just warms your heart.
ReplyDeleteperfect timing...I just made my thank you card list!
ReplyDeletethere's nothing like the unexpected thrill of receiving mail that isn't junk or a bill. to be thanked for something is an extra special bonus!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a sweet idea! I really want to start being more vocal in my appreciation of people. :)
ReplyDeletehow lovely! thank you notes and all mail via post is such a joy.
ReplyDeleteo love to send notes of any kind, but thank yous are the best
ReplyDeleteI love this!!! I'm planning on leaving thank you notes with all the random people who are deserving of thanks in my life too, but I was just going to print out some simple little business card type thank yous. I love that these would be real cards {and such awesome card companies!}. And I would love to help you spread the word!
ReplyDeleteGood idea!
ReplyDeleteThank you cards are a tradition that needs to be prevented from becoming passe. All "couth" gentlemen & gentleladies should have a box of fine Thank You cards- plus an excellent writing utensil for accompaniment- to hare their gratitude.
Thanks for doing this Carina!
